Password Store

The Password Store is the shared credential area inside Organization Settings. It gives admins a controlled way to manage credentials used by approved workflows and automations.

What can be stored

The current product supports common credential types such as:

  • website logins
  • API keys and secrets

What admins can do

  • initialize the vault
  • add credentials
  • edit credentials
  • delete credentials when they are no longer needed

Why use the Password Store

It gives teams a safer alternative to sharing credentials informally and helps keep workflow access tied to one managed place inside XY.

Best practices

  • only store credentials needed for approved workflow use cases
  • review stored credentials regularly
  • remove outdated credentials promptly
