Agents

The Agents section of the XY Web App provides comprehensive management of your AI automation agents, allowing you to browse, configure, and monitor both active agents and discover new automation opportunities.

Interface Overview

The agents interface is organized into two main tabs with powerful search and filtering capabilities.

Tab Navigation

My Agents

  • View and manage your currently active and configured agents
  • Access agent configuration and monitoring tools
  • Review agent performance and status
  • Quick access to agent-specific workflows and data

Discover Agents

  • Browse the XY Agent Library for new automation opportunities
  • View detailed descriptions and capabilities of available agents
  • Preview agent requirements and integration dependencies
  • One-click agent activation and setup

Search and Filtering

The global search bar allows you to:

  • Search by agent name or keywords
  • Filter across both My Agents and Discover Agents tabs
  • Find specific functionality or use cases quickly
  • Real-time search results as you type

My Agents

Active Agent Types

Data Entry & Transcription Agent

  • Purpose: Automates document intake, scanning, and data extraction
  • Processes: Invoices, medical records, referrals, and other healthcare documents
  • Status: Shows processing activity and document queue status
  • Link: Direct access to invoice processing queues

Claims Management Agent

  • Purpose: Monitors claim statuses, analyzes denials, and automates appeals
  • Processes: Insurance claims, denial management, and revenue recovery
  • Status: Real-time claim processing status and denial alerts
  • Link: Direct access to claims processing queues

Scheduling Agent

  • Purpose: Optimizes appointment scheduling and patient flow management
  • Processes: Patient preferences, provider availability, waitlist management
  • Features: Automated reminders, cancellation handling, efficiency optimization
  • Link: Direct access to calendar and scheduling interface

Agent Card Information

Each agent card displays:

  • Agent Name: Clear identification and purpose
  • Description: Detailed explanation of agent capabilities and use cases
  • Status Indicator:
    • 🟢 Active: Agent is running and processing
    • 🟡 Processing: Currently handling tasks
    • 🔴 Needs Attention: Configuration or error resolution required
  • Last Updated: Most recent configuration or activity timestamp
  • Quick Actions: Configure, monitor, or pause agent operations

Missing Information Agent

  • Purpose: Manages workflows, claims scrubbing, and submission compliance
  • Status: Coming soon
  • Use Cases: Ensures completeness and accuracy in claims processing

Patient Intake Agent

  • Purpose: Automates patient onboarding and check-in processes
  • Features: Demographics collection, insurance verification, consent forms

Prior Authorization Agent

  • Purpose: Automates prior authorization requests and tracking

  • Purpose: Real-time insurance eligibility and coverage verification

Agent Discovery Process

  1. Browse Available Agents: Review the library of agents in the Discover tab
  2. Evaluate Use Cases: Read detailed descriptions and capability overviews
  3. Check Prerequisites: Review integration and setup requirements
  4. Agent Activation: Click to begin the setup process for new agents
  5. Configuration: Complete agent-specific setup and testing
  6. Migration to My Agents: Successfully configured agents appear in My Agents tab

Getting Started with Agents

For New Users

  1. Start with Core Agents: Activate Data Entry, Claims Management, and Scheduling agents
  2. Complete Integration Setup: Ensure necessary system connections are configured
  3. Upload Sample Data: Test agents with representative documents or data
  4. Monitor Initial Performance: Review agent processing and adjust settings as needed
  5. Explore Additional Agents: Use the Discover tab to identify additional automation opportunities
