Browser Agents

The Browser Agents area in the XY Web App helps organizations manage the Browser Agent as a shared product capability, not just as an individual browser extension.

What this area is for​

Use Browser Agents to:

  • download the latest extension package
  • guide users through installation
  • review Browser Agent activity across the organization
  • see which users are active with the Browser Agent

Main tabs​

Users​

The Users tab gives admins and authorized users visibility into Browser Agent adoption across the workspace.

Depending on your access, you may see:

  • total users
  • active users
  • recent usage
  • Browser Agent activity by organization member

This is useful when rolling out browser-based automation to a team or checking who is actively using recorded workflows.

Install​

The Install tab is the main handoff point for getting the extension onto a user’s machine.

It includes:

  • a download button for the extension package
  • guided installation steps
  • version information
  • help text for users who need IT support

Typical rollout flow​

  1. An admin opens Browser Agents.
  2. The team downloads the latest extension package.
  3. Users install and sign in through the Browser Agent.
  4. Users begin recording and running browser workflows.
  5. The organization reviews usage in the Users tab.

When to use this page​

Use Browser Agents when:

  • your workflow depends on a browser portal
  • you need users to install the extension
  • you want to monitor Browser Agent adoption across a team
