XY Browser Agent offers two installation approaches depending on whether you're setting it up for yourself or deploying it across multiple users in your organization.

Users For IT Administrators​

System Compatibility​

XY Browser Agent works on:

  • ✅ Windows 10+ with Chrome 88+
  • ✅ macOS 10.14+ with Chrome 88+
  • ✅ Linux (Ubuntu 16.04+) with Chrome 88+

Network Requirements​

Direct HTTPS Access Required:

  • Browser must have direct access to target websites
  • VDI/Remote Desktop environments are not supported
  • VPN connections that provide direct web access are compatible

Current Availability​

  • ❌ Not in Chrome Web Store: Extension must be installed manually
  • ✅ Available via XY Web App: Download requires XY account login
  • 🔄 Updates: Manual update process until Web Store availability
